涸沼の砂並草原に行って、チュウヒのねぐら入りを観察してきました。
昨年12月に参加した野鳥の会の探鳥会と同じ場所です。
あの時は風が強く、寒すぎて大変でしたが、行った日は風がほとんどなくて非常に観察しやすかったです。
ねぐら入り観察は猛禽類の飛翔をじっくりと見ることができるので、やはり楽しかったです。
ハイイロチュウヒ
尾羽の付け根あたりが白いので、多分ハイイロチュウヒという種類かなと思います。
翼の下面にしましまがあるので、メスか幼鳥（昨年夏生まれ）のようです。
寝る場所を決めたら、普通にスーッとヨシに降りていく個体が多い中、この個体はちょっとかっこよく降りていきました。
スーッときて、
クルっと回って、
真っ逆さまに落ちて、
消えました。
デザイアですね。
というような様子を観察できて楽しいので、さわ野杜とり部でも企画しようかなと思っています。
ただ、２月中に北に帰ってしまうというように聞きましたので、今シーズンは難しそうですね。
来シーズンに企画してみようと思います。
